I had been thinking for days, before launching this new blog, on what I should write about for my inaugural post.

Then today I decided that instead of writing a lengthy first post, I should first write some sort of an introduction to this blog.

This blog was started because I have decided to stop blogging publicly about my personal life at my original blogsite, daphnemaia.com. It was not only making me feel increasingly uncomfortable about allowing netizens whom I don’t know be privy of my emotional state and the ongoings of my life.

Yet I cannot suppress the writer in me! So here I am, with an all-new blog.

This blog will be quite an impersonal one, exploring a different writing and blogging style, and presenting a different side to the Daphne Maia that some of you may already know. Some of the various topics (non-exhaustive) that will be covered in this blog include:

Language use and language education, other matters regarding education, equal opportunities, human resources-related topics, general relationships issues, reviews, events, travels, how-to articles, and social media.

This blog, therefore, is my offering to my online friends, and everyone who wants to read what I have to say.

Cheers.
