Calling all Singapore Slingers fans, basketball fans, bloggers, sports enthusiasts, and Brewerkz beer fans!

If you’re curious about what it is like to watch Singapore’s basketball pride in action, in a stadium full of enthusiastic fans, while enjoying cold beer courtesy of Brewerkz, here’s your chance to find out!

This week, I’m giving away TEN pairs of tickets to the upcoming game where the Singapore Slingers meet Barangay Ginebra Kings in what is set to be the most explosive game of the season!

We played against Ginebra last season, and boy, was it a physical match! And now, they’re back with a vengeance! It’s going to be interesting to see how our new Slingers team deals with their play, and hopefully, defeat Ginebra again!

But the Slingers need your support, your cheers, your applause! Tickets are already on sale now, but since we know nothing beats FREE tickets and FREE beer, the Slingers Management and Brewerkz Management have kindly agreed to sponsor this giveaway!

Tip-off time: 2000 hrs
Venue: Singapore Indoor Stadium

I want to watch the Slingers in action because I have heard a lot about the Slingers but yet, have not saw watched them play before. This is due to me being a football fan more than a basketball one – though I do engage in this sport and represented my school even in ‘B’ Division.

Usually, the timing for S-League games and Slinger games clash and thus, I have no way to catch our local team in action. Whatmore, I heard that this year there are more young local players playing as opposed to the previous few seasons in which it was more dependent on the imports to lead the team.

Thus, winning tickets to this game would definitely means that the basketball game will carry more importance than the soccer one – and hopefully it will stay this way after this game.

I want to watch the Slingers in action because I love basketball and having a decent local team to root for is a privilege.I’ve been to the past two games and honestly, we need more Singaporeans to be there to OPEN THEIR MOUTHS, we’re OUTNUMBERED PEOPLE! I probably won’t be going since I’ll be overseas but I won’t want my little brother to miss the action (he’s a big Hong Wei Jian fan) so I’ll probably get someone to go with him

Hi Daphne, I want to watch the Slingers in action because of the same reason as Gordon. I love basketball, but more importantly, the team is Singapore’s pride. We need to support the sport for our locals to grow and improve. And definitely I’ll be down to watch the Slingers to be part of the home crowd, to make the Indoor Stadium the home court that it should be.

I want to watch the Slingers in action because: even though me and my family are all filipino it is also a great privilege for us to be able to support our national team as well. I still remember how my son cheers for the Slingers as they play againts Brgy. Genebra the last time, My son cheers even though there are lots of filipinos cheering for Brgy. Genebra but all are happy because it was indeed a fun game. If given a chance I would like to bring him again with the same team that I like against the same team my son cheers for and that is Singapore Slingers.
